Meraki Botanicals products were created to help restore the body’s ability to navigate daily stressors with more ease and clarity. With so many embracing the sober curious, mocktail movement we also wanted to offer a product that has the ability to serve as a daily, restorative supplement AND a powerful, stress-soothing drink addative. We recognized a need for natural products formulated to quickly bring a state of calm clarity. We saw a need for something that would elevate the standard mocktail combinations of juice and sparkling water to a true experience that fits any occasion. Sometimes we want a botanical beverage to quiet our busy minds and bring some grounded clarity. Sometimes we need a beverage that soothes stress while also bringing positive energy with a clear, alert mind. And sometimes we want it all!
We don’t always need, or want, to reach for alcohol to satisfy these desires. Meraki Botanicals has you covered with one of a kind botanical beverage enhancements that boost your social vibes and restore your body = social wellness in a bottle 🙂
The liposomal delivery system used for our products is one unique attribute that sets us apart from other supplements and herbal products. Liposomal supplements are known to offer much greater absorption of active ingredients than standard extracts and provide fast, long-lasting results. Additionally, the lipids, or healthy fats, used to create our liposomes nourish the membranes of the body’s cells, giving you an added health benefit not found in standard carrier oil, alcohol or glycerine-based herbal products. Meraki products do not contain alcohol.
All products currently available are designed for daily use. You certainly can take Zen as needed but the cumulative effects of daily consumption are not to be missed for combating daily stressors! A full serving is 3ml, or 6 pumps, although some may find that they need smaller or larger amounts depending on their health needs and goals.
Many mamas will be fine taking a full serving from the start. If you believe your system is sensitive, it may be a good idea to start by taking smaller amounts of any supplement until you know how your body responds. Generally speaking, you may choose to begin with 2-3 pumps for the first day and increase as you feel ready. Some find that taking a partial serving in the morning, followed by a second partial serving in early afternoon works well for them and some find better results with full servings. Let your body guide you and check in with your healthcare provider.
Either is fine. We find that taking our Zen products on an empty stomach, before eating, is the best way to maximize benefits. BUT, we also realize that life is hectic and sometimes you may forget to take your supplements before eating. No problem! Our formulator, Deanna, always says that botanicals don’t work if you don’t take them, so grab your bottle anytime for a little support!
Every mama is different. Many mamas will notice a positive change immediately, while others may see results after a longer period of supplementation. Everyone’s body is unique and some may require more or less of any of our products to reach their health goals. Daily use of Zen will bring you the best results.
Consistent, daily use for several weeks is the best way to determine how the supplement is working for you and your preferred serving size. Follow your body’s intuition.

A quick decision maker for many Mamas will be hemp vs hemp free. The Zen Amino Acid features GABA and L-theanine with our Zen botanical blend and does not contain any hemp extracts. Certain dietary supplements can alter the amount of prescription medication needed, making it essential for you to discuss your desires with your doctor to ensure you continue with the appropriate amount of your prescribed medication.
When unopened, Meraki products are shelf-stable for up to 2 years after manufacturing. Once a product is opened we recommend using it within 45 days. It is fine to keep your product at room temperature, just avoid leaving bottles in areas that are susceptible to temperature extremes, like your car.

Liposomal Delivery FAQ
Simply put, liposomes are layers of healthy fats wrapped around a nutrient core (in our case this core contains all our incredible ingredients). These fat layers are arranged in a way that imitates our cell membranes. Due to the structural similarity of liposomes and cell membranes, when liposomes come in contact with particular cells they essentially fuse with the cell’s membranes, allowing their nutrient core to move directly into the cell where it stimulates a cascade of healing activity specific to that nutrient. This process also nourishes and repairs damaged cell membranes, providing additional benefits.
Liposomes offer significantly higher absorption of nutrients, or bioavailability, compared to standard supplements and are known to provide results that are immediate, long-lasting, and time-released, allowing them to continue for hours. The increased bioavailability means our supplements offer much greater effects with smaller amounts of active ingredients required to achieve better results.
Smaller liposomes are absorbed in the mouth and go to work immediately, providing rapid results. Larger liposomes move into the digestive system and are protected from the acidic environment of the stomach by the layers of healthy fats, allowing these larger liposomes to time release slowly and consistently, bringing sustained results.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of many cannabinoid compounds found in both hemp and marijuana. It does not cause a high when ingested but it does stimulate some remarkable and widespread effects in the human body. The psychoactive compound in hemp and marijuana is THC and Meraki Mama hemp products contain no THC because they are made with broad-spectrum hemp extracts.
Many of the benefits associated with CBD use are due to the plant compound’s ability to stimulate healing responses in our body by boosting the amount of circulating endocannabinoids. These are chemicals made in our body that are very similar to those found in hemp, such as CBD. Taking supplements rich in CBD and CBG can help soothe mental and physical challenges of stressful times, support focus, uplift mood and ease occasional physical discomforts.
CBG (Cannabigerol) is one of the newest superstar compounds found in hemp. It is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that has been demonstrating some exciting health benefits in current research efforts. CBG is often called the “mother cannabinoid” because it is the precursor to CBD and THC in the living plant. It has many effects that are similar to CBD but it’s also known to increase dopamine levels, which can have positive effects on sleep and mood, and CBG helps keep serotonin and GABA circulating through the body, targeting irritability, supporting focus and uplifting mood.
There is still not enough conclusive evidence on the safety of consuming hemp products like CBD while pregnant or breastfeeding. We encourage you to discuss this with your physician to determine what is right for you as an individual. No. Both CBD and CBG are non-psychoactive compounds, so they won’t make you high. Some who are new to CBD and CBG may initially notice some subtle differences in body and mind such as relaxation, sharpened mental focus, and enhanced senses.
CBD and Meraki Mama products are dietary supplements and have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment or cure of any disease. Meraki Mama products and educational offerings do not replace the care of a medical professional and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Meraki Mama’s Zen CBD/CBG is formulated to combat fatigue among many other things. The combination of hemp CBG with botanicals known to provide steady, consistent energy through the day, makes this the perfect formula for tired mamas.
Some CBD supplements with larger amounts of CBD can have a groggy side effect but not Meraki Mama’s! The increased bioavailability from our liposomal delivery means our supplements offer much greater effects from smaller amounts of active ingredients.
All Meraki Mama hemp products use hemp sourced from farms registered with the USDA as industrial hemp producers and utilize organic growing practices. This is essential to a clean product because hemp can absorb chemicals from the soil such as herbicides and pesticides. You do not want that in your health supplement.
Rest assured that we take the cleanliness of our products seriously and only use extracts from plants that are grown without the use of herbicides and pesticides. Remember, Meraki Mama products are made by mamas for mamas and we use these products too. Your health is as important to us as our own.
Yes. First and foremost, we only partner with farmers who are committed to using the best organic practices in their work, meaning no harmful herbicides or pesticides are utilized in farming and no harsh chemicals used during extraction. To ensure that the Meraki Mama community receives the purest CBD available, extensive testing is done to ensure we use the highest quality extracts and additional tests are run to screen for contaminants such as herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals, harmful solvents, and microbials. During this testing process, a full cannabinoid profile of the raw extract is also generated to ensure precision formulation for each production batch.
Additionally, our products are made without common allergens. This means each product is free from gluten, dairy, soy, and GMOs.
Broad Spectrum products do not have THC because this compound has been filtered out during production. Full Spectrum CBD products can contain a maximum of 0.3% THC. Meraki Mama only sells Broad Spectrum hemp products.
The CBD in our hemp products comes from a full-plant distillate, not isolates.
The CBG found in our Zen product is unique because a good portion of what is in each bottle is naturally occurring in the full plant extract we use. Most companies offering CBG in their supplements rely 100% on isolate powder to produce their products. This means they separate the CBG from all the other plant extracts. Studies have shown that consistent use of hemp isolates can render them ineffective.
Although we do add a small amount of isolate to enhance the effectiveness of this truly special cannabinoid, we take pride in offering a product with a significant amount of naturally occurring CBG.
CBD products made from industrial hemp are legal in all 50 states and can be shipped across state lines as stated in the Farm Bill. Here’s a breakdown of the Bill
No. Meraki Mama products are whole-plant extracts made from legally grown hemp sourced from farmers registered with the USDA as industrial hemp farmers. Although hemp and marijuana are related they have several key differences, THC content being the most important. Industrial hemp used for CBD products is naturally low in THC and contains a naturally large amount of CBD. The opposite is true for many marijuana plants.

GABA, or Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid, is an amino acid produced in the brain that works as a neurotransmitter to stimulate a variety of positive mental and physical effects. This amazing compound is also found in some fermented foods as well as in green, black, and oolong teas. GABA works in the body to calm the brain, which can ease stress response, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and trouble with memory and concentration.
L-theanine is an amino acid found in green and black tea. It is known to increase brain chemicals that promote calm states, decrease overly exciting brain chemicals, and increase relaxing brain waves, called alpha waves. These effects have been known to improve sleep quality, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance cognitive function and memory and assist with the maintenance of healthy body weight.

We want you to love Meraki products as much as we do. This is why we offer new customers a 15 day return policy. We ask that you give our products a full 2 weeks to experience their benefits. If, after 2 weeks you aren’t loving it- email us at hello@merakibotanicals.com to initiate your return. Note- all requests must be received within 15 days of product delivery to qualify.
